West Side Story is about Tony and Maria, two members of rival gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, who fall in love at a dance. This impossible love story set fire to the on-going hatred between these families. Tony and Maria have to choose between family and love. Will life matter even more than love?
Last Friday, we were given the opportunity to see the musical West Side Story in the magnificent Théatre du Châtelet. The artists displayed impressive skills whether it be singing, dancing or acting ! The ingenious set transported the audience into their world. We came back home still singing the catchy songs. Brace yourself, the adventure is not over yet… !
